EVENT: 17th Annual Stomp the Swamp

The 17th Annual Stomp the Swamp for Autism Acceptance and Awareness will be held at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday, March 7th, 2026! Autism is the fastest-rising developmental disorder in the United States, with 1 in every 36 children affected.
At STOMP THE SWAMP, families of and individuals with autism or related disabilities, community members, and UF students, faculty and staff walk or run the stadium steps or loop to raise funds for the UF Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UF CARD). Other activities include vendor and university organization tables, silent auction, performances, and activities for children. Event T-shirts will be available with a $25 donation. Proceeds will help to provide swimming lessons for children, child safety materials and information, employment training for young adults, and social skills for children and teens with autism and related disabilities.
UF CARD provides free services to individuals affected by autism as well as their families, schools, and communities in a 14-county region which includes Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lafayette, Levy, Marion, Putnam, Suwanee, and Union Counties.
