TV and radio presenter Jamie Theakston has announced he is “cancer free” and will be returning to work on Monday after being diagnosed with stage one laryngeal cancer in September. The 54-year-old underwent three surgeries and was warned there was a one-in-six chance he might never talk again. Theakston expressed his gratitude for the support he received during his cancer journey and thanked his co-hosts for their help.
