A legal battle over Wendy Williams’ conservatorship has intensified as her attorney claims that her past cognitive decline was due to alcohol-related dementia, not frontotemporal dementia as previously diagnosed. Attorney Joe Tacopina stated that a recent neurological evaluation by Dr. Samuel E. Gandy contradicted the earlier diagnosis. Tacopina revealed that Williams had struggled with alcoholism and required rehabilitation, but has since stopped drinking.
