Join us for the 4th annual Cancer Chomp, Saturday, Oct. 25th, for a day of community engagement, peer support and survivor recognition in acknowledgment of the unique challenges faced by brain tumor patients and their loved ones.
Hosted at the UF Cancer & Genetics Research Complex, this event features a 5K run/walk, Kid Zone, charitable organizations, community vendors, mini therapy horses, UF Gator mascots, the Gator Band, and much more!
This event is free to attend though there is a small fee to participate in the 5K. All proceeds from Cancer Chomp support patients and their families undergoing brain tumor treatment at UF Health. This support includes (but is not limited to) lodging assistance, gas cards, help with medication copays and the purchase of medical equipment not covered by insurance. Your Gator mobile app has your chance to get that registration fee waived for you and 3 friends! Open your Gator mobile app for a chance to register to win!
The Preston A. Wells Jr. Center for Brain Tumor Therapy at the University of Florida invites you to join us for a day of fun and community support. We hope to see you there!
