Mattel Studios is developing a Magic 8 Ball live-action series, co-created and co-showrun by M. Night Shyamalan and Brad Falchuk. The show aims to reimagine the classic toy as a high-concept, character-driven supernatural drama. Production start date is yet to be announced for the series based on the iconic toy first released in 1950.
