HBO Max has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of The Pitt, showcasing some of the emergencies and characters viewers can expect. The preview confirms the return of key characters like Dana Evans and Dr. Langdon, as well as introduces new character Dr. Al-Hashimi. The second season is set to take place 10 months after the events of the first season over the July 4 weekend, allowing the characters to deal with the aftermath of the mass shooting. The season will focus on Dr. Robby’s journey of healing and seeking treatment for his trauma, as well as how the rest of the team copes with the challenges they face. The show is set to return in January and is executive produced by R. Scott Gemmill, Noah Wyle, John Wells, and others.
