The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards will feature new awards for Busta Rhymes and Ricky Martin, honoring their contributions to rap and Latin music. The ceremony will take place on Sept. 7 at the UBS Arena in New York. LL Cool J will host the event, which will include performances by artists like J Balvin, Alex Warren, and Sabrina Carpenter. Lady Gaga leads the nominations with 12 nods, followed by Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar. Fans can vote for their favorite artists on the VMAs website until Sept. 5. The recipient of the Video Vanguard Award has not been announced yet.
