A24 has released the trailer for Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie and starring Timothée Chalamet as Marty Mauser, a man determined to make a name for himself in the world of competitive ping pong in the 1950s. The film follows Marty’s journey to prove himself in a sport that few take seriously in America, drawing loose inspiration from pro player Marty Reisman. The trailer showcases Marty’s ambition, relationships with characters played by Gwyneth Paltrow and Odessa A’zion, and his efforts to sell the sport’s potential to Kevin O’Leary. Marty Supreme features a diverse cast including Tyler, The Creator, Penn Jillette, and Fran Drescher, and is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day 2025.
