Disney has announced the release dates for Pixar’s new sci-fi adventure film, Elio, on digital, 4K, and Blu-ray. Despite positive reviews, the movie did not perform well at the box office. The story follows Elio Solís, an alien-obsessed teenager who has a close encounter with extraterrestrials and is taken to their cosmic ‘Communiverse.’ Elio learns the importance of building connections with loved ones back on Earth. The film will be available for digital rental or purchase on August 19, followed by a 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on September 9. Special features include a limited edition SteelBook® with artwork and packaging showcasing Elio’s adventure.
