Actress Ruth Buzzi Dead At 88

Comedian Ruth Buzzi, known for her iconic role on “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In,” passed away at her Texas home on May 1 after years in hospice care. Raised in Connecticut, Buzzi began her career in musical and comedy shows before joining “Laugh-In” in 1968, where she gained national fame for her character Gladys Ormphby. She continued to appear on various TV shows, movies, and commercials, including roles on “That Girl,” “The Love Boat,” and “Sesame Street.”
