Free Parenting Workshop

The Early Learning Coalition of Marion County (ELCMC) is hosting free parenting workshops Thursdays at 6 p.m., May 4 through June 8, 2023 at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place, 1821 NW 21st Ave. Dinner and child care is included.

These free workshops use the Parents as Teachers curriculum with a focus on parents and caregivers as children’s first and most influential teachers. Attendees will participate in fun activities while learning about early childhood development and ways to improve parenting practices. Families will receive resources to help their children succeed in school and grow to realize their full potential. Plus, Marion County families who attend ALL SIX workshops will receive a $250 gift card. Spaces are limited.
