Indie Singer Sam Fender Wins UK Mercury Prize

Pulp, despite their Mercury Prize-nominated comeback album ‘More,’ are not eager to make another album. The band performed at the ceremony and expressed their contentment with being shortlisted. They mentioned that a new EP or single is a possibility but not currently in the works. Pulp also discussed their recent North American tour and the experience of playing with LCD Soundsystem at the Hollywood Bowl. Sam Fender won the 2025 Mercury Prize for his album ‘People Watching,’ expressing gratitude for the recognition and the event being held outside London for the first time.
