Reflect, celebrate, and anticipate the New Year with the Cade Museum!

Watch Depot Park’s spectacular firework show from the comfort of the Cade’s galleries with a drink and snacks in hand. This family-friendly event will feature games and experiments, an alternate time zone countdown, glow party, New Year’s Resolutions, a photo booth, and more!

Sparks In The Park – Depot Park

Sparks in the Park is back, come out and celebrate New Year’s Eve in Depot Park. All festivities are free, family-friendly, and open to the public.

Beginning at 5 p.m., bring blankets and chairs and find a spot in the park to enjoy the last sunset of 2022 while a DJ hosts a family-friendly dance party throughout the park.

At 6:30 p.m., the fun continues with a 20-minute musically choreographed fireworks show over the main pond.

Following the fireworks display, neighbors are invited to enjoy dinner, drinks, festivities and all that downtown has to offer.

Later, the Downtown Countdown begins at 9 p.m., and continues until midnight in Bo Diddley Plaza at 111 E. University Ave.

Ring in the New Year at the City of Gainesville’s Downtown Countdown! The party at Bo Diddley Plaza kicks off at 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, and continues through 12:30 a.m. The night features performances by Jackquelyn Graham and her Trio and 24-7. Let’s celebrate together!

This event is free and open to the public!

New Year’s Eve: A Gainesville Homecoming

Saturday, December 31, 7 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Ring in the New Year at South Main Station and Miami’s DJ A-Train. Start your evening with dinner at Bingo Deli & Pub or Humble Woodfire, then get ready to move with dance classics from every decade. Champagne toast and countdown at midnight. General admission and VIP tickets are available online.
