Local COVID-19 guidelines will be in place.

The TSA posted their annual list of Thanksgiving Day foods allowed through security. Whole foods like turkey, ham, stuffing is allowed on your carry on. Things like mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and gravy, won’t make it through the TSA check point but you can put them in your checked bags.

Here’s five foods you can take in your carry on:

1. Meats like Turkey or Ham. Frozen, raw or cooked are allowed.
2. Stuffing
3. Casseroles
4. Fresh vegetables and fruit
5. Baked goods like pies, cookies, cakes and brownies.

Here’s five foods you can’t bring in your carry on, but can go in your checked luggage:

1. Mashed potatoes – whole potatoes are fine, but once mashed they’re not considered a ‘whole’ food anymore.
2. Cranberry sauce
3. Gravy
4. Canned fruit and vegetables
5. Wine and other alcohol unless it’s purchased from a duty-free store at the airport.

Golden Corral is offering free meal and beverage cards to all active duty and veterans from now until November 30^th. The card will be valid for one use from now until May 31^st for lunch or dinner Monday through Thursday.

Hooters

All veterans and active-duty personnel can get 10 free wings with any 10 purchased on November 11^th. Military ID or proof of service is required at participating locations.

Metro Diner

If you’re active or retired military with a valid military ID you can get 50% off of your bill on Wednesday, November 11^th. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the diner.

Outback Steakhouse

Active or retired service members can get a free Bloomin’ Onion and Coke product on Wednesday, November 11^th. Customers also have the opportunity to round up their check for Operation Homefront until the end of the year.

Also note that Outback Steakhouse offers a hero’s discount daily – all servicemen and women, police officers, firefighters and first responders get 10% off their bill all day, every day with a valid state or federal service ID.

Pilot Flying J

In celebration of Veterans Day, the Pilot Flying J will offer all veterans one free breakfast combo from November 9^th-15^th (valid at all participating U.S. and Flying J Travel Center locations). The breakfast combo includes a free pilot coffee of any size, one free breakfast offering, like a French Toast Sausage or Egg and Cheese sandwich. The Swamp Restaurant is closing it’s doors June 30, 2020. After “many failed attempts to negotiate with our current landlord, The Swamp Restaurant will be closing our doors on Tuesday June 30th, 2020. A development group is purchasing the land and building a high rise apartment complex.
This is just a small glitch, the good news is that we have plans to open a new Swamp in the same location in approximately 18 months.” The Swamp Restaurant wrote on their Facebook page Tuesday afternoon.

If you are interested in one last showdown inside The Swamp, they will have “stacked specials” all week, according to their Facebook page.

Country stars Michael Ray and Carly Pearce have called it quits. After eight months of marriage, Carly Pearce filed for divorce from her husband, Micahel Ray, their reps confirm.

“This was a hard decision. It wasn’t something she wanted to have to do,” a source close to Pearce tells PEOPLE. “This hasn’t been a quarantine realization — it was a last resort.”

They appeared in public together for the last time on June 6th, when they performed a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry.

Before their performance, Ray and Pearce were splitting their time in quarantine between their place in Nashville and their families homes. Ray said they spent a month together in the coastal Alabama home of Pearce’s parents, where they stayed busy by going on “wine walks”.

You just drink wine and walk around a small town,” Ray said. “I don’t think I’ve ever walked more in my life. I felt like we were retired. We just didn’t have anything else to do but walk.”

While the couple once shared many moments of their personal life on social media, Ray hasn’t shared a picture of Pearce since her birthday in April, and Pearce hasn’t shared one of Ray since his a few days later. Fans started to notice that Ray was absent from Pearce’s No. 1 celebration for ‘I Hope You’re Happy Now’. Many of the photos that have been taken during the last several weeks obscure the ring and hand where her wedding band would be.

This news breaks on what seems to be like a very sad day for Ray. Ray shared a photo Monday afternoon showing that his heart is breaking for a different reason.

“When we set out together almost 14 years ago, we named our band after the Southern ‘Antebellum’ style home where we took our first photos,” the Nashville trio said. “But we are regretful and embarrassed to say that we did not take into account the associations that weigh down this word referring to the period of history before the Civil War, which includes slavery. We are deeply sorry for the hurt this has caused and for anyone who has felt unsafe, unseen, or unvalued.” See Lady A’s statement below.

With everyone’s safety in mind, Tim McGraw has cancelled his ‘Here on Earth Tour’ amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

With no new dates announced, Tim is working with his team to try to get the new dates out as quickly as possible, once it is safe to do so.

Tim says that in the meantime, he is working with his team to figure out new ways to connect with his fans and get more music out.

Tim & Faith’s two oldest daughters are sheltering in place in California, & their youngest is staying on their farm for now, meaning Tim & Faith have the house all to themselves, & Tim’s not mad about it.

Tim tells Taste of Country Nights that he & his wife of 20 plus years are embracing the quiet time & have regular date nights that don’t look too different from before Coronavirus days.

Their oldest daughter, Gracie, lives in California full-time, but their middle daughter Maggie was staying at the family’s Tennessee home for roughly six weeks before she left again. Which left was their high school graduate Audrey, who Tim joked was sick of her parents when he hopped on a zoom call to talk to Evan and Amber from the syndicated radio show.

“Our date nights are usually the same,” Tim McGraw dishes. “Dinner and pile up on the couch & watch a movie or a series. We’re pretty simple. We don’t go out very often. Even before all this we didn’t go out very often.”

“Having four women in the house, I don’t have much say so over anything,” he says, “But that’s good. Here’s what I know: I know in my old age I’ll be well taken care of.”

Country superstar, Jason Aldean posted the news on social media Wednesday (May 20th) to let fans know that he has been added to the list of tour postponements in light of the COVID19 pandemic.

“We’re making the call to postpone my We Back Tour until 2021. The health and safety of my fans, my band and crew and all of the local workers in your town who help pull off our shows each night is something we’re not going to gamble on,” Jason Aldean writes.

“I can promise you we’ll get new dates as soon as we can and that me and the boys will be back next year bigger and louder than ever,” he adds.

Jason Aldean has not announced any potential replacement dates or provided fans with news about refunds for tickets that have already been purchased.
